Why we chose powder

Most contract fillers treat powder as a sideline — a liquid line with a different hopper bolted on. We took the opposite view. Powders demand their own engineering: extraction positioned where the dust is born, auger tooling matched to each product's flow behaviour, and changeover procedures rigorous enough to keep a pharmaceutical-grade blend from contaminating the protein run beside it. So that's what we built.

From our Ingleburn facility in Sydney's south-west, we fill and pack more than half a million units every month — jars, tubs, buckets, bags, sachets, stick packs and pouches — for brands in personal care, health and wellness, pet care, household care and ambient foods. Plenty of brands come to us with a finished formulation and a purchase order. Others arrive with an idea, a recipe scribbled in a notebook, and no idea what a fill weight tolerance should be. Both get the same treatment: straight answers, costed plans and production that does what the quote said it would.

What certification actually buys you

GMP certification, an APVMA licence and NSW Food Safety accreditation aren't wall decorations — they're the reason your product survives an audit, a retailer's compliance check or a customer complaint investigation. In practice, they mean every raw material is checked against specification at goods-in, every line is cleared and verified between products, every weight check is recorded, and every finished batch is held until QA formally releases it. If something ever needs tracing, we can trace it — to the batch, the line, the shift and the operator.

Part of something bigger

Powder Filling Australia sits alongside Liquid Filling Australia, Contract Filling Australia and Pack and Fill within the Pack & Fill Australia group. For clients, that means depth: if your range spans powders and liquids, or your volumes outgrow a single line, there's group capability behind your account without changing partners, quality systems or standards. Our liquid filling line here in Ingleburn is the everyday example — a companion capability for ranges that need both formats under one roof.

How we work

Principles that shape every run

Four commitments our clients hold us to — and that our production team holds itself to first.

Accuracy over speed

A fast line that drifts off weight is a liability, not an asset. Fill weights are verified at setup, monitored through the run and check-weighed before release.

Cleanliness as a system

Dust extraction, documented line clearance and segregation between products are procedures with sign-offs — not habits that depend on who's on shift.

Quotes that hold

We price against your actual product and container, so the number we send within one business day is the number you plan around.

Paperwork that stands up

Batch records capture every check and verification. When your customer, auditor or regulator asks questions, the answers are already filed.

Honest capacity advice

If a trial run should come before full production, we'll say so. If another line in the group suits your job better, we'll say that too.

One roof, one record

Blending, filling, coding, packing and palletising happen in one facility under one batch record — fewer hand-offs, fewer risks, one point of accountability.

The process

Five stages from raw material to released pallet

Every job follows the same auditable sequence, so you always know where your batch is and what has been checked along the way.

  1. Goods-In QC & Warehousing

Raw materials are identified, sampled and checked against specification before entering quarantine-then-release storage, ready for scheduling.

  2. Line Clearance & Setup

The line is stripped, cleaned and independently verified free of the previous product — powders leave traces, so we hunt for them.

  3. Precision Filling & Verification

Fills are dialled in on your product, then monitored across the batch with in-process weight checks against your declared target.

  4. Coding & Packaging

Batch and expiry details are inkjet-coded in-line before labelling, cartoning and shrink wrapping to your retail specification.

  5. Palletisation & QA Release

Finished cartons are palletised, wrapped and held until QA completes its review of the batch record — nothing ships until release.
